In 2001 the world was a different place.  The Internet was booming; however industry had not yet embraced the reality of the cost savings that outsourcing could provide.   IT became, over the years, to be accepted as a natural 'outsourced' resource, alongside advertising and marketing.  Companies, however, were nervous of outsourced typing and indeed there were horror stories of medical mistakes due to outsourcing the typing to other areas of the world!

In 2001 OutSec was started in Norfolk.  Vanessa French, our founder, was inspired by the speed by which audio files could be uploaded via the new internet connections with transcripts done immediately and returned at the speed of light and saw the opportunity to offer a dedicated online typing service to clients anywhere in the country or indeed in the world.

Now OutSec is known throughout the industry and the UK's leading on line transcription service providing services both at home and abroad.

Our aim now is to help veterinary surgeries save costs and, more importantly time.  The PetSec's (part of the OutSec group) simple solution is an affordable, efficient and time and cost saving service.  By freeing up your time you now have a choice.  See other patients or improve your work/life balance.
